    MagneBind^® 300 is a phosphate binder that contains magnesium carbonate and calcium carbonate.  Using magnesium allows for a reduction of calcium intake by the dialysis patient.  Magnesium carbonate has been proven to be a safe and effective phosphate binder.  Additionally, magnesium is readily dialyzed.

ESTIMATE BINDING POTENTIAL

Description:

    MagneBind^® 300 is a dietary supplement that contains 300 mg magnesium carbonate USP and 250 mg calcium carbonate USP.

Directions:

    Swallow 1-3 tablets with meals as directed by the physician.

Indication:

    MagneBind^® 300 is a dietary supplement that binds with dietary phosphate.  By binding with the dietary phosphate, oral supplementation with magnesium and calcium can reduce absorption of dietary phosphate.*
